Can I bring my own mobility aid?
You can bring 2 mobility aids for free.
To be reported in advance: manual wheelchair, electric wheelchair and/or electric drive, buggy and sports wheelchair.
No need to report in advance: walker and crutches
These must be labeled at the check-in counter and always go in the hold.
You can use 1 mobility aid up to the gate.
At boarding, it goes into the hold and is returned to you upon arrival.
If you do not use your mobility aid at the airport, hand it over at the check-in counter.
Wheelchairs (manual and electric) are transported free of charge provided the conditions are met.
Maximum dimensions are 86 x 119 x 119 cm. Electric wheelchairs must always be transported upright and must not be higher than 86 cm. If the wheelchair is larger, contact the manufacturer for disassembly and packaging advice, especially for fragile sensors.
Wheelchairs that are not well packed will not be transported.
